Due to the wind I returned to the far corner of the camp lugging equipment 2km while passing some of man’s darkest corners. Painting a large flat grassy plane where 100s of 1000s now sleep. Rain eventually chased me into the woods for the remainder of the day, however with the trees not in full bloom there was little shelter. One painting was done in heavy rain. Like tears the rain washed my marks to the bottom of the canvas. The bark on some of the trees has a metallic like appearance. Looking closer you could see hundreds of perfectly shaped eyes, sad ones, astonishing. Later from the cover of the forest I could see a large group of people praying by one of the gas chambers.
