Oberbaumbrücke, BERLIN, OIL ON CANVAS 100X100 CM

Just below one of the occupied houses tucked away under a bridge, freezing cold and still. Tonight I had two Berlins, one actual and the other a softer reflection laid gently on the black water. What is in front of me is so raw and timeless as if from a clip of blade-runner. I will cherish tonight apart from the stops to warm my hands round the thermos flask.  I have arrived in the urban world I was hunting for with 3 million people above me but I am as invisible as the cold air which makes my paint stiff.
